Annual Events Companies can sponsor and participate in our one-day special events such as the Chicago Cares Celebration of Service, which takes place in January and the Chicago Cares Serve-a-thon in June. These large service events bring together thousands of corporate volunteers and community members to complete service projects throughout the city. These citywide celebrations of community service promote the spirit of volunteerism and demonstrate good corporate citizenship while raising money to support Chicago Cares year-round volunteer programs. Business Shares The Chicago Cares Business Shares program offers expertise in community service to corporations by creating customized, hands-on group volunteer projects that complement team building, leadership development, and philanthropy initiatives. Through this program, Chicago Cares will fully develop and coordinate all aspects of your company’s volunteer project.
